{"id":8761,"date":"2012-09-05T12:39:06","date_gmt":"2012-09-05T11:39:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=8761"},"modified":"2012-12-01T01:34:23","modified_gmt":"2012-12-01T00:34:23","slug":"one-direction-usa-to-change-their-name-to-uncharted-shores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/8761\/one-direction-usa-to-change-their-name-to-uncharted-shores\/","title":{"rendered":"One Direction USA to change their name to Uncharted Shores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"one direction and uncharted shores\" src=\"\/images\/music\/onedirection\/onedirectionandunchartedshores.jpg\" alt=\"uncharted shores\" width=\"263\" height=\"211\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/gigs\/category\/onednews\/\">UK boyband One Direction<\/a> have finally settled the dispute with an American band of the same name, it has been reported.<\/p>\n<p>The US boyband threatened legal action against the UK X Factor group earlier this year, after they launched their career stateside and topped the charts with their debut album \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/gigs\/5964\/\">Up All Night<\/a>\u2019 and single \u2018What Makes You Beautiful\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The issue arose when the American band demanded that 1D stop using their name while they are in the United States, however a press release from both groups has revealed that they have settled the matter in a way which allows UK One Direction boyband to keep using their title.<\/p>\n<p>Their American counterparts will now change their name to Uncharted Shores.
