It was only fitting for his new show that he showed us something we have not seen before, if only to make us go wow!<\/p>\n<p>Cowell\u2019s new pad certainly had the wow factor, and it would appear that this home comes with a yacht thrown in. However, it does seem a bit deceptive that the show focus on his home being in <em>Paris<\/em>, but if you look a little closer you might realise that it is no were near Paris &#8211; well, to us Brits &#8211;\u00a0if you are an American I guess a\u00a0 couple hundred miles is commuting distance. However, Lord Cowell of The X Factor has hidden himself in the <em>South of France<\/em>, in one of the most beautiful spots in Europe.<br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* largexfactor 336x280, created 11\/25\/10 *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"7071761240\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 336;\ngoogle_ad_height = 280;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Having left former girlfriend and pop singer Sinita back in the UK, Simon decided to make a fresh start at judges homes for the US show by enlisting the help of one of the world most famous superstars,\u00a0 Mariah Carey. Unfortunately for Mariah, Simon and the contestants, Mariah was grounded in <em>Miami<\/em> by Hurricane Irene.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Simon Cowell x factor house in paris\" src=\"\/images\/usa\/thexfactor\/2011\/houses\/girls\/simonhouse04.JPG\" alt=\"Simon Cowell x factor house in South of france\" width=\"630\" height=\"341\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So Simon had to go solo in deciding which of his eight acts to bring to the X Factor live shows. This year Simon was awarded the Girls category to mentor, which he appeared to be delighted with.
