{"id":5183,"date":"2011-05-26T14:29:44","date_gmt":"2011-05-26T13:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=5183"},"modified":"2017-10-20T18:53:23","modified_gmt":"2017-10-20T17:53:23","slug":"american-idol-2011-final-scotty-mccreery-is-the-winner-of-american-idol-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/5183\/american-idol-2011-final-scotty-mccreery-is-the-winner-of-american-idol-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"American Idol 2011 Final: Scotty McCreery is the Winner of American Idol 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Scotty Mccreery\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/usa\/2011\/scottymccreery03.JPG\" alt=\"Scotty Mccreery\" width=\"326\" height=\"234\" \/>Scotty McCreery has been crowned winner of American Idol 2011 and we are absolutely ecstatic with that result.<\/p>\n<p>The 17 year old in now American Idol very first male country singer and\u00a0 McCreery is also the 10th winner of American idol beating 16-year-old Lauren Alaina in the final.<\/p>\n<p>The youngsters looked extraordinarily nervous as they awaited the result, then broke out into laughter as Ryan Seacrest received the official results envelope.<\/p>\n<p>More than 122 million votes were cast for the final show of season ten and on hearing the results, the deeply religious teenager\u00a0 from Garner, North Carolina\u00a0 exclaimed:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I never in my wildest dreams\u2026\u2026\u2026I\u2019ve got to thank the Lord first\u2026 he got me here.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>However, he stayed loyal to his competitor, 16 year old Lauren and added:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It\u2019s been a year since Lauren and I tried out now.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Me and her have been together since day one and we are going to stay together.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>On results night their were performances from Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez.
