{"id":35174,"date":"2016-02-26T13:09:06","date_gmt":"2016-02-26T12:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=35174"},"modified":"2016-02-26T13:11:21","modified_gmt":"2016-02-26T12:11:21","slug":"john-torodes-vegetable-tagine-recipe-on-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/35174\/john-torodes-vegetable-tagine-recipe-on-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"John Torode&#8217;s vegetable tagine recipe on This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John Torode served up a tasty vegetable tagine for the weekend on This Morning.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients are: 2 carrots, pealed, cut in half lengthways and then cut in half the other way, 2 Large parsnips, pealed, cut in half lengthways and then cut in half the other way, 2 red onions, halved, 2 large potatoes, pealed and quartered, 3 leeks (white parts only) split, washed and cut in 6cm lengths, 1 tin of chickpeas, 30ml olive oil, 400ml water, 12 dried prunes, dates or figs, 2 preserved lemons rind off and slice into thin strips (optional) to serve, Small jar of harissa, to serve, 2 sprigs of mint, leaves picked and chopped, to serve.<\/p>\n<p>For the chermoula: 1 tbsp ground cumin, 1 tbsp ground paprika, 1 tbsp ground turmeric, 1tsp hot chilli powder, 2 large red onions, roughly chopped, 3 garlic cloves, 3.5cm piece of fresh root ginger, pealed and roughly chopped, 200ml olive oil, 200ml lemon juice (the juice of about 3 lemons), 1 generous tbsp honey, a large handful of flat leaf parsley and a large handful of coriander.<\/p>\n<p>For the couscous: 30g couscous, 100g butter, cut in to cubes, a small handful of sultanas, salt and freshly ground black pepper.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/vegetable-tagine.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/vegetable-tagine.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"vegetable tagine\" width=\"570\" height=\"294\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35178\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/vegetable-tagine.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/vegetable-tagine-300x154.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"John Torode served up a tasty vegetable tagine for the weekend on This Morning.
