{"id":35086,"date":"2016-02-20T12:27:11","date_gmt":"2016-02-20T11:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=35086"},"modified":"2016-02-20T12:27:11","modified_gmt":"2016-02-20T11:27:11","slug":"james-martin-thai-green-curry-with-sticky-rice-recipe-on-saturday-kitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/35086\/james-martin-thai-green-curry-with-sticky-rice-recipe-on-saturday-kitchen\/","title":{"rendered":"James Martin Thai green curry with sticky rice recipe on Saturday Kitchen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>James Martin served up a tasty Thai green curry with sticky rice and homemade curry paste for food heaven on Saturday Kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>James says: &#8220;Take your curry to the next level with fragrant Thai flavours and perfect sticky rice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients for the paste are: 3 lemongrass stalks, chopped, 4 green bird&#8217;s-eye chillies, seeds removed and chopped, 4 lime leaves, chopped, 1 lime, zest and juice only, 1 banana shallot, chopped, 2cm knob galangal (or fresh root ginger), 4 tbsp chopped coriander stalks, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp ground coriander, \u00bd tsp crushed black peppercorns, 2 tbsp Thai fish sauce and 1 tsp palm sugar.<\/p>\n<p>For the Thai green curry: 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 8 chicken thighs, skinned, boned and chopped, 400ml coconut milk, 125g pea aubergines, 2 limes, juice only, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and 2 tbsp Thai basil, torn.<\/p>\n<p>For the sticky rice: 400g sticky rice, 150ml coconut milk amd 1 tsp salt.<\/p>\n<p>For the steamed vegetables: 1 head broccoli or 250g purple sprouting broccoli and 300g sugar snap peas.<\/p>\n<p>To garnish: 1 shallot, sliced, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 4 tbsp fresh coriander and 75g salted peanuts, chopped.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/thai-green-curry.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/thai-green-curry.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"thai green curry\" width=\"570\" height=\"296\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35092\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/thai-green-curry.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/thai-green-curry-300x155.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"James Martin served up a tasty Thai green curry with sticky rice and homemade curry paste for food heaven on Saturday Kitchen.
