If you&#8217;d rather not use an aged sirloin steak, one that hasn&#8217;t been aged will work well, too.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients are: 4 x 300g aged sirloin steaks, 4 tbsp olive oil and salt and freshly ground black pepper.<\/p>\n<p>For the Thai salad: \u00bc red cabbage, thinly sliced, 1 small red onion, thinly sliced, 1 Asian pear, peeled and finely chopped, \u00bd coconut, \u00bc shaved, \u00bc grated, 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves and 4 tbsp sesame seeds.<\/p>\n<p>For the dressing: 2 limes, juice only, 4 garlic cloves, crushed, 2 tbsp finely grated ginger, 2 tbsp palm sugar, 4 tbsp fish sauce, 6 tbsp soy sauce, 2 red chillies, 1 finely chopped, 1 sliced, 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint leaves and 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves.<\/p>\n<p>To serve: 2 tbsp toasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped and 1 lime, halved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steak1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steak1.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"steak\" width=\"570\" height=\"293\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34097\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steak1.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steak1-300x154.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"James Martin showcased his tasty sirloin steak with Thai salad and toasted hazelnuts for food heaven on Saturday Kitchen.
