{"id":3238,"date":"2011-01-08T15:54:00","date_gmt":"2011-01-08T14:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=3238"},"modified":"2011-01-15T15:25:43","modified_gmt":"2011-01-15T14:25:43","slug":"got-to-dance-2011-theo-mckenzie-hayton-split-got-to-dance-judges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/3238\/got-to-dance-2011-theo-mckenzie-hayton-split-got-to-dance-judges\/","title":{"rendered":"Got To Dance 2011: Theo Mckenzie-Hayton Split Got To Dance Judges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Theo\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/uk\/gottodance\/theo.JPG\" alt=\"Theo\" width=\"613\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6 year old Theo split the judges after delivering what we can only describe as a memorable performance of a Michael Jackson routine.<\/p>\n<p>Before his performance Theo said: \u201cI like Michael Jackson when he was alive but when he died I was like, we need somebody here so then I took over\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His mother Claire explains where the interest came from \u2013 \u201cHe went to watch the Thriller stage show with his Dad, came home and within a week he was moon walking so I got the DVD and then it was hours and hours in front of the DVD\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She goes on to explain how much Michael Jackson influences young Theo\u2019s behaviour \u2013 \u201cI bought the white suit and I had to make adjustments. With the ribbon on the arm he told me exactly where it had to be \u2013 the braces had to be in a certain place. So although I may have put together the suit he tells me how to do it. He\u2019s a bit of a diva! He\u2019s quite bossy \u2013 he likes to direct things quite a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dancing to \u2018Smooth Criminal\u2019, the reaction from the Judges was mixed; he only got one gold star from Ashley Banjo.<\/p>\n<p>Ashley was outraged at the other two judges, but Kimberley was adamant that Theo needed to do more dance moves. Adam relents and gives him a gold star. Then Davina saves the day by telling them that the whole routine was freestyled. And Kimberley&#8217;s star suddenly changes colour!
