{"id":28470,"date":"2015-06-12T13:42:14","date_gmt":"2015-06-12T12:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=28470"},"modified":"2015-06-12T13:48:22","modified_gmt":"2015-06-12T12:48:22","slug":"phil-vickery-pan-fried-trout-with-summer-salsa-and-popcorn-hake-recipe-on-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/28470\/phil-vickery-pan-fried-trout-with-summer-salsa-and-popcorn-hake-recipe-on-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Phil Vickery Pan-fried trout with summer salsa and popcorn hake recipe on This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Phil Vickery served up pan-fried loch trout with summer salsa and popcorn hake for is fish Friday themed meals on This Morning.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients for the spicy popcorn hake with green herb mayo are:<\/p>\n<p>2 medium eggs, lightly beaten, \u00bd tsp ground cumin, Pinch dried chilli powder, 400g hake, bone free cut into 2cm strips, 4 tbsp cornflour and 200g roughly, fine ground cornmeal or polenta.<\/p>\n<p>For the sauce: 350mls shop bought mayonnaise, 2 tsp fresh chilli roughly chopped, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 2 large spring onions roughly chopped, 4 tbsp any fresh green herb such as basil, coriander, parsley, Small handful fresh spinach leaves, 2 tbsp vinegar, a dash of water and Black pepper.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients for the pan-fried loch trout with lemon and cucumber salsa:<\/p>\n<p>Vegetable oil for frying, 4 x 150-180g fresh loch trout fillets, no skin or bones, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, \u00bd tsp ground black pepper and 1 tsp dried garlic powder.<\/p>\n<p>For the cucumber salsa: \u00bd small cucumber, finely chopped, finely grated zest and juice 1 large lemon, 3 spring onions, finely chopped, \u00bd tsp chopped fresh red chill (optional), 2 tbsp chopped coriander, 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil, 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint, 2-3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, Pinch salt and sugar, 2 tbsp any oil and 1 tbsp unsalted butter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/hake.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/hake.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"hake\" width=\"570\" height=\"340\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28474\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/hake.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/hake-300x178.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Phil Vickery served up pan-fried loch trout with summer salsa and popcorn hake for is fish Friday themed meals on This Morning.
