{"id":27116,"date":"2015-04-04T00:38:29","date_gmt":"2015-04-03T23:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=27116"},"modified":"2015-04-04T10:45:32","modified_gmt":"2015-04-04T09:45:32","slug":"paul-ainsworth-cornish-hake-with-spring-soup-recipe-on-saturday-kitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/27116\/paul-ainsworth-cornish-hake-with-spring-soup-recipe-on-saturday-kitchen\/","title":{"rendered":"Paul Ainsworth Cornish hake with spring soup recipe on Saturday Kitchen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Ainsworth serves up Brown butter Cornish hake with &#8216;pressure-cooked&#8217; spring soup on Saturday Kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>Paul says: &#8220;Once the prep is done this dish will take very little time and its fresh flavours are certain to impress.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients for the hake are: 250g butter (unsalted or salted depending on your preference), cubed, 4 x 150g-200g hake fillets, skin on, sea salt flakes and 1 lemon, zest and juice only.<\/p>\n<p>For the pressure-cooked soup base: 1 litre good-quality chicken or vegetable stock, 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to serve, 300g smoked streaky bacon or pancetta, chopped, 1 head fennel, chopped into 1cm cubes, 1 medium onion, finely chopped, 3 garlic cloves, finely grated, 2 sticks celery, peeled and chopped into 1cm cubes, 100g dried spaghetti, broken into bite-sized pieces, 2 sprigs rosemary, 4 sprigs thyme, 4 ripe plum tomatoes on the vine and sea salt flakes.<\/p>\n<p>For the spring greens: 6 asparagus spears, woody ends removed, peeled, 1 bunch spring onions, finely sliced, 100g fresh peas, podded, 100g broad beans, 6 baby courgettes, thinly sliced, 100g green beans, finely chopped, \u00bd bunch radishes, cut into quarters, 1 small handful fresh basil, 1 small handful fresh chives and freshly ground white pepper.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hake.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hake.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"hake\" width=\"570\" height=\"305\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-27123\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hake.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hake-300x160.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Paul Ainsworth serves up Brown butter Cornish hake with &#8216;pressure-cooked&#8217; spring soup on Saturday Kitchen.
