Paije found himself in the bottom two alongside Cher Lloyd after last night\u2019s performances of The Beatles tracks.<\/p>\n<p>In the sing off, Cher performed \u2018Stay\u2019 by Shakespears Sisters which she previously sung in Week 4. Meanwhile Paije, opted for \u2018Stop\u2019 by Jamelia. This was the first time both acts have ended up in the bottom two which came as a major surprise to them both.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After their performances, Simon was asked to vote first. He took a short pause and then said: \u201cI\u2019m going to go with the person I continually supported and \u2013 by the way \u2013 neither of you should\u2019ve been in the bottom two, but the person I\u2019m going to send home is Paije\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The crowd, who were chanting \u201cWe Want Paijee\u201d reacted to Simon\u2019s decision with boos.<\/p>\n<p>Cheryl then voted, repeating Simon\u2019s comments about how neither of the pair should\u2019ve been in the bottom two. She said: \u201cThis is absolutely the worst part, I absolutely hate this part but I\u2019m going to send home Paije.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dannii said: \u201cI know it\u2019s probably silly to repeat again, but this is outrageous! You\u2019ve both given such fantastic performances but I will always support my own act. Paije, you did the most unbelievable performance this week and you deserve this, so I\u2019m going to have to send home Cher.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Louis Walsh was last to vote: \u201cIt\u2019s so, so difficult because both acts were so good in the sing off,\u201d said Louis who had the deciding vote, \u201cI\u2019ve always supported Paije since Day one, but in the sing-off Cher was incredible.
