Singing \u2018Help\u2019 by the Beatles tonight, Katie Waissel is hoping that this Beatles iconic classic might just be the tonic to turn the voting public around.<\/p>\n

In our view it was not her best performance on the X Factor but with the change of image and slowing down the tempo of the song, it was a performance that spoke of desperation and not star quality. But having found herself in the bottom two 4 weeks in a row, it was time for her to give a performance that is comparable to the performances she delivers when in the bottom. Tonight we believe she came very close, but we are not certain it was enough to keep her out of the bottom two again.<\/p>\n

Before taking to the stage she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m keeping my head down and focussed. I\u2019m not focussing at all this week on the drama that surrounds this.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is what the judges had to say about her performance:<\/p>\n

Louis Walsh:<\/strong> Katie you are still standing and I love your new look. You look like a supermodel tonight. Vocally that was incredible. We don\u2019t want you in the bottom two again because this is a singing competition and you can really sing.<\/p>\n

Dannii Minogue: <\/strong>I think it was the first time that you put the energy you put into the save me songs into the main show. So you can breath a sigh of relief there. Where I think you\u2019ve been confused with the audience is, every week you say this is the real me, this is the real me and every week it\u2019s something completely different. You do have a great voice but maybe your strength would be to take on characters and acting because it seems to be what we\u2019ve seen every week. I\u2019m still a little confused about what is the real you.<\/p>\n

Simon Cowell:<\/strong> I\u2019m not confused and this is why I\u2019m glad you\u2019re still in the competition. This is you stripped back bare, no gimmicks, sang a song where lyrically it was absolutely genius. Here\u2019s the irony which really frustrates me, a lot of people on these shows are not what they appear. I\u2019m being told to wrap up but I\u2019m not going to because I want to make this point. You are actually a genuinely nice person, you\u2019ve had a bit of stick, you take it on the chin and I like the fact that you come back as a different person each week. It\u2019s interesting.<\/p>\n

Cheryl Cole:<\/strong> Definitely one of the most people I\u2019ve ever been able to work with and that was my performance of the night.<\/p>\n
