It is day eight of MasterChef: The Professionals 2014 and the second set of five chefs of week 3 enter the kitchen to showcase their cooking skills. <\/p>\n

However, like their fellow chefs before them, they must prove to Chefs Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and food critic Gregg Wallace that they have what it takes to stay in the competition or they will be given their bus fare home.<\/p>\n

The five chefs are:
\nKris 22, from Devon
\nKuldeep 34, from Cardiff
\nBen 22, from Chippenhham
\nLee 30, Ripon
\nCraig 27, Canterbury.<\/p>\n

Kris, Kuldeep, Ben, Craig, Lee and Craig begin their bid for the coveted MasterChef: The Professionals title with a total of three daunting tests to prove themselves to the judges.<\/p>\n

The first challenge they face is the Signature Dish Test. The five chefs have one hour to cook one plate of food that showcases just what they can do, before one must leave.<\/p>\n

The four remaining chefs must then take on Monica\u2019s Skills Test ( make whelks and winkles seafood dish<\/a> ), followed by Marcus Wareing\u2019s Invention Test ( make a chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream dessert<\/a>) before one or more is sent home.<\/p>\n
