{"id":20766,"date":"2014-10-27T10:51:54","date_gmt":"2014-10-27T09:51:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=20766"},"modified":"2014-10-27T10:56:43","modified_gmt":"2014-10-27T09:56:43","slug":"dean-edwards-moroccan-chicken-with-chickpea-salad-recipe-on-lorraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/20766\/dean-edwards-moroccan-chicken-with-chickpea-salad-recipe-on-lorraine\/","title":{"rendered":"Dean Edwards Moroccan chicken with chickpea salad recipe on Lorraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dean Edwards makes a delicious Moroccan chicken with chickpea salad on Lorraine.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients for the Chermoula sauce are: 3 tbs coriander chopped, 2 tbs flat leaf parsley chopped, 1\u20442 red onion roughly, 1 clove garlic, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1\u20442 tsp ground cumin, 1\u20442 tsp ground coriander, 40ml olive oil and Juice 1\u20442 lemon.<\/p>\n<p>Chick pea salad: 2 400g tins chickpeas drained, 1\u20442 red chilli deseeded and chopped, 1\u20442 red onion sliced, 2 tbs natural yoghurt, 2 handfuls baby spinach and Salt and Pepper.<\/p>\n<p>To prepare the dish, blitz all of the chermoula ingredients (ground and fresh coriander, parsley, red onion, garlic, paprika, cumin, olive oil and lemon juice) together in a mini blender or food processor until a paste consistency then leave to stand whilst you prepare the rest of the dish.<\/p>\n<p>Score each chicken thigh three times then marinade in the chermoula sauce, reserving two tablespoons for the chickpeas.<\/p>\n<p>Leave to stand in the fridge for at least one hour then roast skin side up in a pre heated oven set at 200c \/ gas mark 6 for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.<\/p>\n<p>Mix the chickpeas, chilli, and red onion with the yoghurt then stir through the remaining chermoula sauce, season with salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Serve the chickpea salad on a bed of baby spinach and top with the chicken thighs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Moroccan-chicken.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Moroccan-chicken.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Moroccan chicken\" width=\"570\" height=\"315\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20770\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Moroccan-chicken.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Moroccan-chicken-300x165.png 300w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Moroccan-chicken-200x110.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dean Edwards makes a delicious Moroccan chicken with chickpea salad on Lorraine.
