{"id":20596,"date":"2014-10-20T11:47:57","date_gmt":"2014-10-20T10:47:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=20596"},"modified":"2014-10-20T11:56:48","modified_gmt":"2014-10-20T10:56:48","slug":"jack-monroe-tasty-mac-n-cheese-with-cauliflower-and-bacon-recipe-on-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/20596\/jack-monroe-tasty-mac-n-cheese-with-cauliflower-and-bacon-recipe-on-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Jack Monroe tasty mac n cheese with cauliflower and bacon recipe on This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jack Monroe cooks tasty mac n cheese with cauliflower and bacon that works out a just 57p per portion on This Morning.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Monroe is a single mother whose delicious recipes, published online were so nutritious and thrifty that they were handed out by food banks as examples of how to manage on next to nothing.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients are: 300g short pasta like macaroni, 2 tablespoons oil, 200g cauliflower, fresh or frozen grated or broken into small florets, 200g streaky bacon chopped, 2 eggs, 200ml milk, black pepper and 100g hard strong cheese.<\/p>\n<p>To prepare the dish, bring a medium saucepan of water to the boil. Add the pasta and reduce to a simmer.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile gently heat the oil in a large saucepan, then add the grated cauliflower and bacon<\/p>\n<p>In a separate bowl beat together the eggs, milk and pepper. Add a few tablespoons of the pasta cooking water and beat in.<\/p>\n<p>When the pasta is al dente, drain it and add to the pan with the cauliflower and bacon.
