mash, smoked bacon, chestnut mushrooms and red current jelly on Mary at 90: A Lifetime of Cooking.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients are: 3 tbsp sunflower oil, 1kg braising beef, diced, 250g smoked streaky bacon, roughly chopped, 2 large onions, thinly sliced, 3 large garlic cloves, finely grated, 500g chestnut mushrooms, halved, 3 tbsp tomato pur\u00e9e, 55g plain flour, 175ml red wine, 450ml beef stock, 1\u20132 tsp redcurrant jelly, 3 bay leaves, salt and freshly ground black pepper.<\/p>\n<p>For the cauliflower and potato mash: 1kg floury potatoes, peeled and chopped into large cubes, 350g cauliflower, broken into florets, 3 tbsp milk, knob unsalted butter and 100g mature Cheddar, grated.<\/p>\n<p><a
