One hundred members of the Shakespeare Society gathered at Mary Arden&#8217;s Farm, birthplace of William Shakespeare, to celebrate the anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>In a battle between the girls and the boys, they must work in specially-constructed kitchens in marquees, on equipment they have never worked on before. The teams must design and create four mouth-watering dishes each (a meat dish, fish, vegetarian and dessert) from a selection of ingredients that would have been available at the time, including mutton, rabbit, pigeon and rainbow trout as well as a selection of fruit and vegetables and herbs and spices.<\/p>\n<p>The celebs are given 3 hours to use the Tudor ingredients to deliver a feast fit for a Tudor banquet to impress the members of Shakespeare Society.<\/p>\n<p>The boys served up, rabbit legs stuffed with liver and wrapped in bacon served with pearl barley risotto, roast trout, asparagus and an egg and leek potato pie.<\/p>\n<p>The girls served up mutton stew, lemon sole served with baked ousters and turnips.<\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>[imagebrowser id=92]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It\u2019s the semi-finals of Celebrity Masterchef 2014 and the eight semi-finalists face their toughest challenges yet.
