Each of them takes on one of five courses designed by John to really test what they can do.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/johncamble.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15136\" title=\"John Campbell\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/johncamble.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/johncamble.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/johncamble-300x156.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The cooks have four hours to prep and serve, and in that time they must master elements of cooking they&#8217;ve never attempted before. The menu will be served to an elite group of historians and academics &#8211; eminent historian Mary Beard, who is professor of classics at the University of Cambridge; author Terry Deary, who is best known for the gruesome detail in his Horrible Histories tales; and Dr Lucy Worsley, the curator of Britain&#8217;s Historic Royal Palaces.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/guests.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/guests.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"food guests\" width=\"570\" height=\"292\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15143\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/guests.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/guests-300x153.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* Other-Horiz *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"7570609205\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 60;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>The responsibilities for the menu are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ping is responsible for the first starter, pumpkin soup.<br \/>\nJack is charged with the second starter, flamed grill mackerel with beetroot.<br \/>\nMichael is responsible for cooking the venison main course with six vegetable cooked in five different ways.<br \/>\nAngela gets the first dessert, sultan almond ice cream.<br \/>\nLuke&#8217;s dish will close the feast with the second desert, a de-constructed apple tarte tatin.<\/p>\n<p>[imagebrowser id=84] <\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, it is straight back to MasterChef HQ where the five remaining amateurs have a challenge that put their skills to the test once more.
