{"id":14440,"date":"2014-04-10T19:01:42","date_gmt":"2014-04-10T18:01:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=14440"},"modified":"2014-04-10T19:02:34","modified_gmt":"2014-04-10T18:02:34","slug":"great-british-menu-2014-northern-ireland-fish-course-main-course-and-dessert-dishes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/14440\/great-british-menu-2014-northern-ireland-fish-course-main-course-and-dessert-dishes\/","title":{"rendered":"Great British Menu 2014: Northern Ireland Fish Course,  Main Course and Dessert  dishes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Great British Menu kicked off on our screens this week and in the past couple of days the three chefs trying to represent Northern Ireland to cook at a banquet marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day, have battled in the heat of the kitchen to serve up some eye-catching dishes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/ireland-chefs1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/ireland-chefs1.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Northern Ireland chefs\" width=\"570\" height=\"350\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14442\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/ireland-chefs1.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/ireland-chefs1-300x184.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Raymond McArdle, Richard Corrigan&#8217;s prot\u00e9g\u00e9 Chris McGowan and young gun Will Brown, has had their patriotic dishes scrutinized by two Michelin stared chef Tom Kerridge and invited guest chefs.<\/p>\n<p>Tom, who honed his skills in the Cotswolds, is not only one of Britain\u2019s finest Chefs, but he has also won the Great British Menu contest twice.<\/p>\n<p>After the <a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/14419\/\">starter round<\/a> came the fish round, and in this round Tom judged Chris McGowan\u2019s dish the winner awarding him eight points.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fishcourse-chris.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fishcourse-chris.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"fish course Chris McGowan \" width=\"570\" height=\"302\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14441\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fishcourse-chris.png 570w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/fishcourse-chris-300x158.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But in the main course round, all three chefs were tied with seven points for their dishes.
