{"id":13957,"date":"2014-03-17T18:47:41","date_gmt":"2014-03-17T17:47:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=13957"},"modified":"2014-03-17T18:47:41","modified_gmt":"2014-03-17T17:47:41","slug":"mary-berry-plum-and-marzipan-tart-tatin-recipe-for-sunday-lunch-on-mary-berry-cooks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/13957\/mary-berry-plum-and-marzipan-tart-tatin-recipe-for-sunday-lunch-on-mary-berry-cooks\/","title":{"rendered":"Mary Berry Plum and marzipan tart tatin recipe for Sunday Lunch on Mary Berry Cooks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mary Berry makes a plum and marzipan tarte tatin for Sunday lunch on this week\u2019s episode of Mary Berry Cooks.<\/p>\n<p>Mary says about her recipe: \u201cThis is a cheat\u2019s variation of the classic French tart and makes an impressive pudding to serve in the autumn with lots of cream or ice cream.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To make her plum and marzipan tart, Mary used: 75g light muscovado sugar, 9 ripe large plums, halved and stones removed, 100g marzipan and 1 x 320g pack all-butter puff pastry. <\/p>\n<p>To prepare the tart, sprinkle the sugar over the base of the cake tin in an even layer then arrange the plums on top of the sugar, cut-side down.<\/p>\n<p>Roll out the marzipan thinly to a round slightly smaller than the tin and place on top of the plums.<\/p>\n<p>Roll out the pastry just a little bit bigger so that it is the width of the cake tin.
