John Torode served up tasty savoury tartlets with spring vegetables including peas, plum tomatoes and asparagus on This Morning.<\/p>\n

The ingredient for the tarlets are: 500g block puff pastry (all-butter), Plain flour, for dusting, 1 egg, beaten, 2 tbsp pesto, 8 plum tomatoes, sliced, Salt and ground black pepper, 100g watercress and 10ml peppery olive oil.<\/p>\n

For the vegetables: 10 asparagus spears, sliced into 7cm lengths at an angle, 150g broad beans, 150g soya beans, 150g fresh or frozen peas, 3 spring onions, sliced into 7.5cm lengths at an angle, Olive oil, for drizzling, 15 mint leaves, 10 leaves torn and 5 leaves shredded, Salt and freshly ground black pepper, optional: pecorino cheese.<\/p>\n

For the dressing: 1 tablespoon dijon mustard, 75ml red wine vinegar, 300ml extra virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon walnut oil and Sea salt. <\/p>\n
