{"id":118282,"date":"2017-08-04T12:05:00","date_gmt":"2017-08-04T11:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=118282"},"modified":"2017-08-04T12:19:18","modified_gmt":"2017-08-04T11:19:18","slug":"phil-vickery-courgette-fritters-recipe-on-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/118282\/phil-vickery-courgette-fritters-recipe-on-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Phil Vickery courgette fritters recipe on This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Phil Vickery served up courgette fritters with a spicy peanut sauce and sesame salad on This Morning.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients for the Fritters: 3 tbsp self raising flour, pinch or two of turmeric, 1 medium egg, beaten, 50-75ml milk, approximately, salt and freshly ground black pepper, 2 medium courgettes, grated roughly or cut into very thin strips and vegetable oil.<\/p>\n<p>For the sauce: 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 small onion, peeled and chopped, 2 cloves of garlic, peeled an chopped finely, I x 340g jar of \u2018crunchy peanut butter, 1 tbsp maple syrup, A couple of dashes of Tabasco sauce, 4 tbsp chopped coriander, 2 tbsp malt vinegar and Cold water.<\/p>\n<p>For the salad: Juice of 3 large limes, 150g dried shrimp, 200g French beans, cut into long thin slivers, 200g young runner beans, cut into long thin slivers and 1 medium Kohl Rabi, peeled then cut into fine matchsticks.<\/p>\n<p>For the dressing: 3 tbsp tamarind paste, 2 tbsp Thai fish sauce, 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped, 2 tsp heaped finely chopped red chilli, 75mls vegetable oil, 8 paper thin slices of lemon, cut into quarters, 4 tbsp roughly chopped Thai basil, 2 tbsp roughly chopped mint, Salt and finely ground pepper, A pinch of sugar and 10-15 cherry plum tomatoes, halved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/fritters.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/fritters.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"fritters\" width=\"550\" height=\"273\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-118284\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/fritters.png 550w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/fritters-300x148.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-0466605792016836\";\n\/* food and drink *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3648486817\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Phil Vickery served up courgette fritters with a spicy peanut sauce and sesame salad on This Morning.
