He has been in the restaurant trade for more than 20 years and has cooked for a number of dignitaries and royals, including the Queen Mother, Margaret Thatcher and the late King Hussein of Jordan. Lawrence produced a recipe book called Food For Life, from which all proceeds went to the National Kidney Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>For his cake, Lawrence\u2019s ingredients includes:<\/p>\n<p>8 clementine\u2019s, ground almonds, 250g caster sugar, baking powder, lemon zest,\u00a0 orange zest and 6 free-range eggs.<\/p>\n<p>For his spiced mulled wine syrup, Lawrence used: 2 slices orange, cinnamon stick, a star anise,\u00a0 cloves, sugar,\u00a0 red wine and cranberries.<\/p>\n<p>He then bakes it in the oven at 160c for 55 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/stclements.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/stclements.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"st clements cake\" width=\"590\" height=\"307\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11619\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/stclements.png 590w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/stclements-300x156.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To make his cake, Lawrence cooks the clementines in water for an hour before mixing it together with all the cake ingredients including the zests in a mixing bowl.<\/p>\n<p>For the spiced mulled wine syrup, Lawrence wraps the orange, cinnamon, star anise and cloves in a clean sheet of muslin.
