He then creams the mix until it is dark and fluffy.<\/p>\n<p>He breaks open a few cardamom pods and crushes the seeds finely.<\/p>\n<p>He adds 2 table spoons of treacle followed by 250 grams of plan flour, a little bicarbonate of soda, cinnamon and ginger into a bowl.<\/p>\n<p>He sieves the mix into a bowl before adding it to the butter and muscovado bowl. He then adds the yolk of an egg followed by the grounded cardamom.<\/p>\n<p>He pours in a couple of tablespoons of milk and then brings it all together to form a dough.<\/p>\n<p>He rolls the dough out on a floured surface to the thickness of a biscuit, then cut into shapes.<br \/>\nHe bakes the biscuits in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 180C.<\/p>\n<p>To finish, Nigel combine the icing sugar and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth.
