{"id":11477,"date":"2013-12-07T11:59:47","date_gmt":"2013-12-07T10:59:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=11477"},"modified":"2013-12-07T12:57:39","modified_gmt":"2013-12-07T11:57:39","slug":"saturday-kitchin-tom-kitchen-jerusalem-artichoke-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/11477\/saturday-kitchin-tom-kitchen-jerusalem-artichoke-soup\/","title":{"rendered":"Saturday Kitchen live:  Jerusalem artichoke soup by Tom Kitchin served with with a game burger and fried egg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chef <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomskitchen.co.uk\/\">Tom Kitchin<\/a> came to the Saturday Kitchen today to cook a few of his favourite dishes for the Queen of baking, Mary Berry.<\/p>\n<p>Among his dishes Tom made a delicious artichoke soup.<\/p>\n<p>To make his soup, Tom heat some oil in a saucepan then add onions and cook gently for a few minutes until they have softened.<\/p>\n<p>He adds garlic to the saucepan, stirs and cooked for about a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Tom adds the artichokes, lemon juice and chicken stock and cook for eight minutes or until the artichoke have softened.<\/p>\n<p>He places the mixture into the bowl of a foodprocessor, adds a touch of cream and blends the mixture until smooth. He season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/artichokesoup.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/artichokesoup.png\" alt=\"Artichoke Soup\" title=\"artichoke soup\" width=\"590\" height=\"310\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11478\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/artichokesoup.png 590w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/artichokesoup-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To serve, spoon into a bowl and garnish with fresh chives.
