\nWe No Speak Americano is a song by Australian band Yolanda be Cool and fellow Australian producer DCUP.<\/p>\n

Yolanda Be Cool and DCup have each established cult followings over the past year thanks to a series of remixes and EP releases. \u201cWe No Speak Americano\u201d is their first collaboration and it as solidified them as some of the biggest DJs \/ producers around.<\/p>\n

The song is taken from \u201cTu vu\u00f2 f\u00e0 l\u2019americano\u201d (You want to be American) a Neapolitan language song by Italian singer Renato Carosone. Carosone wrote the song in 1956 together with Nicola \u201cNisa\u201d Salerno. Combining swing and jazz, it became one of his best known songs.<\/p>\n
