James Morrison UK and Ireland tour 2012BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter James Morrison, has announced plans for a tour of the UK and Ireland to take place in early 2012.

The announcement comes a day after his latest album, The Awakening, reached number one in the UK chart.

James Morrison will begin his 2012 tour with two gigs in Ireland, performing at Ulster Hall in Belfast on 28th January and Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 29th January.

The Ireland leg of the tour will be followed by the British leg where he will perform at the following venues:

Southampton Guildhall (4th Feb),

Leicester De Montfort Hall (6th Feb),

Birmingham O2 Academy (7th Feb),

Glasgow O2 Academy (15th Feb),

Leeds O2 Academy (17th Feb),

Nottingham Royal Centre (18th Feb),
