After the judges’ scores were combined with the viewer votes, Sam and Charlene were in the bottom two and had to skate again to impress the judges.

It was Charlene’s third time in as many weeks in the bottom two and it seem to have played a part in sealing her fate tonight.

Deciding between the pair, Louie said: “I love you Charlene, but Sam delivered when the heat was on so I’m saving him.”

Robin added, “Charlene, you delivered, but you didn’t compete with Sam, I’m saving him.”

Katarina concluded: “Charlene, it was a more solid performance than your first one but I want to see Sam go go into next week.”

Both groups impressed the judges with their routines tonight and received three gold stars.

Fear Of The Unknown kicked off the show with a very eye-catching routine that wowed, leading Adam Garcia to comment: “You guys are the masters of the grand gesture. You’re memorable, you’re different, and you’re also really great dancers.”

Meanwhile, Ashley was particularly impressed by Boadicea, and urged viewers to vote for them: “I don’t know how many all female street dance groups in the world hit like you guys. I’m rarely so passionate, but everybody listening, please, please please vote for these guys!”

The other acts taking part tonight were: A Hoofer’s Song, Luke Mann, Urban Jokers and Sapnay.

Boadicea and Fear Of The Unknown will join last weeks winners Prodijig and Tayluer & Elliott in the final, which will see the top 10 acts compete for the £250,000 prize in front of an audience of 6,000 at London’s Olympia.

The boys from Doncaster are no stranger to talent competitions after appearing on the BBC3 show Move Like Michael Jackson, Britain’s Got Talent and Channel 4’s Street Dance XXL.

On Sunday Urban Jokers will take to the Got to Dance stage once again in the second semi-finals, where the public will decide if their routine is good enough to book a place in the finals and a chance to win the £250,000 cash prize.

The all-female dance crew age 19 to 28 is 12 members strong and they are one of a number of female dance troupe we have seen this year that looked as good as the male crews in the competition. In the past female street dance groups just never seem to quite hit the mark on the street dance scene, but Boadicea is one group that has bucked the trend and has shown that they have what it takes.

However, Boadicea will be competing in the second semi-finals facing strong competition from acts in different dance genres. It therefore remains to be seen if they can go one step further than Project G that we saw in the first semi-finals and come up with a winning routine to book a place in the finals and a chance to win the £250,000 cash prize. Last week we saw a great opening semi final show with some wonderful performances and we also saw that the public voted to send Prodijig and Tayluer & Elliott though to the live final.

This week six more hopefuls take to the stage to compete for a place in the final. The acts are:
