Can I hear something else a little less smiley and just a better song. What else have you got?\u201d<br \/>\nBut the other judges and the audience convinced Simon to let her finish the song.<\/p>\n<p>After her performance the music mogul told Jodi: \u201cI may have acted a little bit prematurely there. I\u2019m not crazy about those songs and I did cut you off too short and I apologise\u2026 \u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>He went on: \u201cActually no I\u2019m glad I did that actually because you proved a point. You came back with more excitement and more determination, and I kind of did it on purpose now that I\u2019m thinking about it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes you\u2019ve got to push people little. So I\u2019m actually taking credit for that performance. Congratulations!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amanda, who knows a lot about musicals gushes: \u201cI bloody loved it Jodi! What I really admire is how you dealt so brilliantly with the critique.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou came back so much stronger\u2026 you p***** all over Simon\u2019s parade.
