Today the pair revealed that they\u2019d love to be knighted by the Queen to become Sir Ant and Sir Dec!<\/p>\n<p>However, speaking to the Daily Mirror the presenters acknowledge that they may have to wait a long time for the honor, if Sir Bruce Forsyth is anything to go by.<\/p>\n<p>Of the prospect of being knighted, Dec said, \u201cThat would be nice wouldn\u2019t it?\u201d And Ant, added, \u201cWe think you should start a campaign\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cWe have met the Queen once or twice and we have met Prince Charles quite a few times as we are Ambassadors for the Prince\u2019s Trust.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe get on with him well. But poor old Brucie had to wait until he was 80-odd, so we have a while to wait!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ant and Dec began their career as child actors in television as PJ and Duncan in the popular BBC television series Biker Grove.
