{"id":599,"date":"2010-06-07T23:29:41","date_gmt":"2010-06-07T22:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/?p=599"},"modified":"2011-05-06T17:35:15","modified_gmt":"2011-05-06T16:35:15","slug":"a-second-place-finish-for-twist-and-pulse-on-bgt-finals-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/bgt\/599\/a-second-place-finish-for-twist-and-pulse-on-bgt-finals-night\/","title":{"rendered":"A Second Place Finish For Twist and Pulse on BGT Finals Night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Best friends Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy from London, impressed on the finals of Britain\u2019s Got Talent finishing runner-up to Spellbound who took the title, the \u00a3100,000 prise and the opportunity to perform in front of the queen at the Royal variety Performance.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/uk\/bgt2010\/finals\/twistandpulse01.JPG\" alt=\"twist and pulse\" width=\"543\" height=\"290\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The dance comedy duo once again entertained the audience with their funny dance routine, that they nicknamed \u2018Streetomedy\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The college boys \u2019streetomedy\u2019 routine on the night was definitely their funniest yet and they were much more in sync than their previous performances.<\/p>\n<p>Judges Comments<\/p>\n<p><strong>Piers Morgan<\/strong>: &#8220;Sometimes people say it&#8217;s a disadvantage to go first in a final because people won&#8217;t remember. I think in this case it&#8217;s been a massive advantage to you two because you have set the bar tonight for the others to follow. On that performance, there are a lot of contestants round the back saying, &#8216;How are we going to beat that?&#8217; Really good.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amanda Holden<\/strong>: &#8220;I was really worried that I&#8217;d seen everything you can do, but tonight you&#8217;ve shown me that there&#8217;s more and more and more. You&#8217;ve still got that brilliant originality. I love you. You&#8217;re on the money every time. You have a real shot, I honestly believe it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simon Cowell<\/strong>: &#8220;How many times have we seen this routine? This is the third time, and I was concerned that I was going to get bored of it. For me, this was the best routine we&#8217;ve seen of you so far. What&#8217;s really important about you two is that you&#8217;re terribly current. Young kids are totally going to relate to you. I can see you making a fortune in commercials, videos. I&#8217;m really impressed with you guys tonight, well done.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/images\/uk\/bgt2010\/finals\/twistandpulse33.JPG\" alt=\"twist and pulse\" width=\"550\" height=\"289\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although they missed out on the top prise, I have no doubt Britain will see a lot more of these two boys. Their act is refreshing, like a breath of fresh air.
