Sydney based hip hop dance troupe Justice Crew won the fourth series of Australia’s Got Talent 2010.
Justice Crew consists of nine members from different backgrounds who were once members of two different dance crews, but they decided to put their rivalry aside and came together to form a new dance group, which they named Justice Crew.
The group consists of 19 to 24-year-olds, Emmanuel Rodriguez, Samson Smith, Omar Kamara, Len and John Pearce, Anastasios Repousis, Lukas Bellesini, Paulie Merciadez and Solo Tohi. Two of the group members, Samson Smith & Solo Tohi, originally came from New Zealand, both moving to Sydney to pursue their dance careers. Len & John Pearce are twin brothers, who are of Filipino and Australian descent.
The group high energy performances were inspired by Britain’s Got Talent winners of 2009, dance crew Diversity. At their audition on Australia’s Got Talent, Justice Crew received HYPERLINK \l  three “Yes” votes from all three judges – Kyle Sandilands, Dannii Minogue and Brian McFadden – and made it through to the semi-finals.Â
In the semi-finals, Justice Crew not only secured the public vote, but they also received a standing ovation from both the audiences and judges.
Following yet another impressive performance in the grand final, the group once again received a standing ovation. Â Judge Brian McFadden was so impressed with the performance; he stood on his seat and applauded. One group member said that they were nervous before the performance, but once the music started they were confident they could nail it. The crew are now $250,000 richer following their victory.
