The Story In Brief
‘The Descendants’ follows Matt, a complacent and wealthy Hawaiian landowner who is forced to reappraise his comfortable existence when his wife is killed in an accident.
The film tells the story of his relationship with his two daughters as he decides whether or not to sell the land that’s kept the family rich since they were awarded it by Hawaiian royalty hundreds of years previously.
