When his reckless actions start a war in Asgard, Thor is cast out by his father Odin and sent to Earth. To teach him a lesson, he is stripped of his powers and he meets scientist Jane Foster who he soon falls in love with. The beautiful young scientist has a profound affect on him and as he began to settle into life on earth, his jealous step-brother Loki decides to launch an attack on Earth using the darkest forces of Asgard and it’s up to Thor and his trusty hammer Mjolnir to save the day.
